美軍在阿富汗部署A-10C
2月16日，在阿富汗巴格拉姆空軍基地內，美國空軍第47遠征戰鬥機中隊的A-10C攻擊機準備出動。A-10C是A-10A攻擊機的最新改進型。該機換裝了「狙擊手」XR式增強型瞄準吊艙，採用新的飛行控制系統，配備全新的數位化座艙顯示器，更換了發動機。新的大推力發動機的推力較原發動機增加了30%。
